Mark Dunsheath, CFA

Dunsheath is Managing Director and Head of Credit at Brevet Capital, where he oversees the firm’s credit framework, including underwriting, quality control, servicing policies and credit processes for Brevet and its affiliates. He also supports the structuring of new products and investments for governments and government-related counterparties. Before joining Brevet, he spent 15 years as a Managing Director at Syncora Guarantee, where he led structured funding, investment-grade corporate synthetic CDOs, risk and quantitative analytics, and enterprise risk management. He also served as Co-Head of Syncora Alternative Investments, overseeing investments in growth-stage fintech and insurance-related companies. Earlier, he held senior capital markets and treasury roles at Advanta Corp., with responsibility for asset pricing, funding, securitizations and financing programs. Dunsheath holds an M.B.A. from San Diego State University and a B.S.B.A. in Finance from Lehigh University. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society New York.
