Ron Davidow

Davidow is an advisor to Brevet Capital, focusing on new products and special projects. Davidow has more than 50 years of experience in finance. He was President and Chief Operating Officer of Maple Trade Finance, where he led the runoff of a portfolio of more than $700 million in trade finance loans, primarily in Latin America. He joined Maple from FCS Advisors/Turing Capital, a specialty finance company that was a precursor to Brevet. Earlier, he was Executive Vice President of Enhance Financial Services Group, a AAA-rated monoline financial guaranty reinsurer that listed on the NYSE in 1992. There, he headed the Underwriting Committee, ran the credit group, co-headed the New Products/New Ventures Group, and established and ran the trade credit reinsurance business. He began his career as head of insurance ratings at Standard & Poor’s. Davidow holds a B.B.A. from City University Baruch School of Business.
